Our core value is supporting safe, secure homes for families - this means our women aim to be available for their children's needs first, and our job is to support this goal. Our working hours are generally 9am - 2:30pm, inside school hours, unless otherwise specified.

Our experience is extensive and covers all basic residential handywork, plus much more.

Please note - we do not handle plumbing, electrical or structural work, but we can put you in touch with licensed service providers in those industries.

In-home demonstration & coaching

Do you have a job that needs doing and you'd love to learn how to do it yourself? We can come and provide instruction and training while working on your project with you, so that you can take over when you feel ready, and complete it yourself! 

This is a great way to lower the cost of larger jobs and save money in the future if you need the same task done again.

In-home demonstration & coaching

One of our most specialist services - if you would love to gain the skills and confidence to take on your own handy-tasks at home, we offer in-home tuition and demonstration.

We bring our tools and expertise to any task you need completed, and teach you all you need to know so you can do the job yourself next time! 

If it's a small job, like hanging a picture or patching gyprock, we can step you through as we do it, so you are involved in the process. Ask as many questions as you like and have a practise run with our tools, so you feel comfortable to attempt it for yourself next time!

If it's a larger job like tiling, or installing flooring, we can join you for a few hours, show you the ropes, and make a good start on the project, until you feel like you've got it under control and would like to finish the job on your own. This is a flexible service that aims to empower our clients to take on their own home projects and experience the satisfaction of bringing their own dreams to life!

We aim to empower women through training and employment, providing opportunities for skill development that enables women to handle their own home maintenance and improvement, or go out and build their own business providing handy-skills to others.

FAQs

What is the process for quoting?

Quoting can be done through a site visit, or in the case of smaller jobs, sometimes by video call or photographs. Please contact us to arrange a quote for your next project.

What areas do you service?

We operate anywhere between Lancelin and Rockingham, or as far East as Northam and York. Travel charges apply outside the Perth Metro area. Quotes can be arranged for areas further away by request.

Do you run workshops?

Our first workshops will launch in late 2024, covering the most commonly used skills in home maintenance and improvement. If you'd like to be notified when the details are announced, please join our mailing list or message us from the contact page.
